Montessori Institute of Bangalore has been working towards offering workshops that will provide Guides and anyone interested in building creative skills and capacity that they can utilise in their environment. These workshops are curated keeping in mind that the Work of the Hand opens many opportunities for learning within the home and in our classrooms.
Our upcoming Onsite workshop is on “Embroidery” and “Book Binding” which will give you an opportunity to explore your creative side. This workshop will equip beginners with essential tips and techniques in order to pursue this creative skill ahead. We hope that on attending this workshop you will be able to utilise this skill in your environment. Further this will be useful in creating work samples in many areas of learning.

| Time: Full day from 10am-12:30pm and 2pm- 4:30pm (lunch break from 12:30 to 2pm) |

| Course content: Basic Stitches, Versatile stitches, Embroidery lettering on fabric, Embroidery on Paper. Embroidering a fabric using the stitches we’ve learnt (can be used in book binding session) |

| Date: 1st and 2nd August, 2024 (Thursday & Friday) |
| Time: Evenings 4:00 – 6:30pm on both the day |

| Course content: Session 1 & 2: Easy and Complex Bookbinding techniques, Binding without needles and bringing together embroidery and book binding. |
